The results of this new law will have far-reaching consequences for employers and ultimately Human Resources. Jake Logan, Vice President for State Government Affairs, is responsible for coordinating the public policy and political engagement activities for all businesses in the UnitedHealth Group family across the state of Arizona, Idaho and Utah, helping to enhance the company's presence and relationships with elected officials, policymakers and state and community-level office holders.
Before joining UnitedHealthcare, he had more than 12 years of government affairs experience, serving most recently as a partner with an Arizona based lobbying and consulting firm. In that role he was named by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the 40 under 40 and by www.politceraz.com as the 10th most influential leaders in Arizona Politics.
