Utilizing Social Media for Proactive Recruiting

Our unique panel discussion will focus on the different social media recruitment tools available to HR Professionals to proactively recruit candidates while strengthening organizational employment brands and avoiding legal pitfalls.

The panel will consist of a social media tool expert, a certified social media consultant for small businesses in Arizona and a labor and employment attorney and moderated by a leading Arizona HR professional with an accomplished recruitment background.

Panel Members:

Brett Farmiloe, National Social Media Manager for Jobing where he oversees hundreds of client social media accounts to ensure effective marketing, interaction and messaging.  He is also a social media book author and a strategic social media consultant.  He makes presentations on social media as it relates to the recruiting process throughout the West.

Barbara A. Daniels, Certified Social Media Consultant, Director, Marketing and Communications, Arizona Small Business Association.  Barbara is a subject matter expert in HR, Finance, Marketing and online media industries.

William A. Wright, an attorney with Sherman & Howard's Labor and Employment law firm, with offices in Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO.  He received his law degree from the University of Chicago.  Mr. Wright has been practicing Labor and Employment law for 14 years.

DeAnne Russell, SPHR, has been with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center for almost 10 years and has served in many different roles including her most recent position of Senor Recruiter.  De Anne held her SPHR for more than 10 years and is currently AIRS Certified in Internet sourcing and recruiting.

Monika Masciangelo, PHR, program moderator, is a member of the West Valley - VSHRA Programs Committee.  Monika is very active throughout Arizona in Recruitment and in many important HR management related organizations.  She holds a BS Degree in Global Business and Leadership Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Arizona State University.
