Topic: Business Ethics and their role in Human Resources
Presenter: Marcy Maslov
Almost daily, our business news reminds us of current ethical failures and their direct impact on organizations. Because of the difficulty in defining and enforcing ethics, this topic is often not addressed until damage has been done. Trainers, HR professionals and recruiters now share more of the burden in finding people who can honestly meet the experience levels and requirements of their client organizations. This program explores how busines ethics intensely impacts you: from your buying decisions to your hiring decisions, from your personal image to your effectiveness as a leader and from your basic expectations to your own professional standards. In this program we create a fun, creative, safe place to discuss how you can align your teams, solve business and ethical dilemmas, share knowledge and tap into unused potential talent.
The objectives of the presentation include:
- Creating a common language to define ethics
- Providing insight into how to enhance ethical culture and behavior
- Stimulating conversation regarding the importance of ethics in the workplace
- Offering suggestions on how attendees can successfully drive ethical awareness in their organizational and recruiting processes
